The Society of Vacuum Coaters Goes Virtual.

Since the pandemic began we’ve experienced the virtual office, virtual school, virtual concerts, virtual sporting events and even virtual wine tastings. The Society of Vacuum Coaters recently announced they are adding another virtual event to the list: SVC TechCon 2021. Which means you’ll be able to experience many of the things you love about this iconic conference from the comfort of your home.

This year’s Virtual TechCon will include five days of presentations from May 3-7, 2021. The program each day will consist of two parallel tracks over a seven hour period. SVC is planning to present a comprehensive program of keynote, invited and contributed talks. The SVC Education Program will also be available virtually from May 11-13 and 18-20, 2021.

Rather than holding a virtual exhibition, SVC will offer a Product Showcase to all exhibitors on the Virtual TechCon 2021 website. That way all of the SVC stakeholders can connect with exhibitors and keep the conversation going as we lead up to the in-person 2022 SVC TechCon planned for Long Beach, California.

At DHF Technical Products, we’re already thinking of innovative, unexpected ways to connect virtually with our industry colleagues during the virtual event. As always, we’ll have a surprise or two up our heat suit sleeve. Stay tuned.
