The Leading Designer and Manufacturer of Precious Metal Sputtering Targets To Showcase Innovations at SVC TechCon 2024 in Chicago.
Since its inaugural meeting in 1957, SVC TechCon has become the premier technical conference in the vacuum coating industry. For almost seven decades it has provided an environment for industry leaders, engineers, academics, scientists and students from around the world to network, share insights and learn about the latest innovations, trends, research and tools in vacuum coating and thin film technology.
Once again, DHF Technical Products, the leading designer and manufacturer of gold, silver, platinum and palladium sputtering targets will be exhibiting at the conference to be held May 4-9, 2024 at The Hilton Chicago. The 67th Annual SVC TechCon 2024 in Chicago will focus on the essential role thin films, coatings and surface engineering play in the products and services that drive our daily lives. The Technology Exhibition will be held May 7-8, the Education Program will run May 4-9 and the Technical Program is May 6-9.
SVC Technology Exhibit
DHF Technical Products will be at booth 1109 of the Technology Exhibit, May 7-8. “We look forward to connecting with old friends and making some new ones,” says Ed Wegener, DHF Technical Products VP of Sales. “If you’re looking for proven solutions to help lower your cost of precious metal sputtering target ownership including innovative designs and target recycling programs that help increase cash flow, we look forward to seeing you.” Wegener will be attending SVC TechCon along with DHF Technical Products President, Marcel Anaya.
SVC TechCon Education Program.
The SVC TechCon Education Program will be held from May 4-9. The Education Program is an ideal complement to the technologies and applications featured in the Technical Program and Exhibit and offers an extensive lineup of tutorial courses presented by highly-respected professionals in the vacuum coating industry. This year’s Education Director is Scott G. Walton of US Naval Research Laboratory while the Education Committee Chair is Wilmert De Bosscher of Soleras Advanced Coatings.
According to the Society of Vacuum Coaters, SVC Courses are designed to give attendees practical knowledge of vacuum coating processes to help return to work with solutions for everyday vacuum coating challenges. You don’t have to register for the conference or be an SVC Member to take a Tutorial Course. Tutorial registrants receive complimentary registration to the exhibition and also receive a free pass to the technical conference on Tuesday, May 7 and/or Wednesday, May 8. Advance registration is required.
