The 67th Annual SVC TechCon Is Coming to The Hilton Chicago May 4-9, 2024.

After nearly seven decades of excellence, The Society of Vacuum Coaters is bringing the premier conference for the vacuum coating industry to the heart of one of the world’s great cities.

Since 1957, SVC TechCon has provided a forum where researchers, technologists, innovators, business leaders, decision makers and newcomers to the field can connect, exchange ideas and learn from each other. Once again, the industry-leading Technical and Educational Programs and Technology Exhibition will give attendees access to the latest innovations in the vacuum technology space all in one place. This year’s program will focus on the essential role thin films, coatings and surface engineering play in the products and services in our daily lives.

The Heart of Vacuum Technology.

The SVC provides a platform for a global group of stakeholders to showcase the latest technologies, manufacturing methodologies and business insights. SVC TechCon offers an engaging program featuring prominent keynote presentations, invited speakers, contributed talks and posters, roundtable discussions and other interactive features.

The Technical Program is scheduled for May 6-9, the Education Program will run from May 4-9 and the Technology Exhibition will take place on May 7th and 8th.

The 2024 conference will be held at The Hilton Chicago, overlooking Grant Park, Lake Michigan and Museum Campus in the center of Michigan Avenue. The best of what Chicago has to offer is around the corner including Grant Park, Soldier Field and the Pilsen neighborhood with its museums and booming bar and restaurant scene. It’s a great location to meet people in the industry, network and have fun while doing it.
